Search and Discovery Through Human Computation

Machines are good at handling huge amounts of data, but they lack the fl exibility and sensitivity of human perception when making decisions or observations. To understand human perception, we look toward what defi nes being human. To sense, observe, and make sense of the world around us, we combine our biological receptors (eyes, ears, etc.) with our cognitive faculties (memory, emotion, etc.). But the memory banks that we pull from to create comparative reasonings are unique from individual to individual.
